Privacy Notice

What you should know about this site: no registration, no cookies, no third-party analytics. What we keep is a pseudonym that changes daily and which story was opened — so we can see what readers care about.

1. Basics

1.1. The Controller

Zayindustries — isgpt4skynet (Michael Zayin)
Email: isgpt4skynet@protonmail.com
Phone: +36/30-9-120-200

Data Protection Officer (DPO): not required by law, therefore none has been appointed.

1.2. Purpose and scope

This notice describes how we handle personal data when you use the isgpt4skynet.com website (the “Website”), in line with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

It covers the Website and its pages: reading AI news stories, timelines and language versions.

1.3. Legal background

  • EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR)
  • Act CXII of 2011 (Hungarian Information Act)
  • Act V of 2013 (Hungarian Civil Code)
  • Act CVIII of 2001 (Hungarian E-commerce Act)

1.4. What we do NOT process

The Website has no registration, no user accounts, no comments and no payment. We do not ask for or store your name, email address or a password. We use no cookies, no third-party analytics, advertising or social services, and we build no profile of you. YouTube videos are not embedded — the page loads nothing from Google; the video link opens on YouTube's own site in a new tab, where YouTube's privacy terms apply.

2. Data we process

2.1. A pseudonym instead of the IP address

To count views, the visitor is recorded under a pseudonym that changes every day: a short, irreversible identifier derived from the IP address, the browser identification string, the date and a secret salt. The IP address itself is not stored in the statistics. Because the pseudonym differs every day, a visitor cannot be tracked across days — we only know how many people read on a given day.

2.2. View events

  • which story was opened (the story's identifier) and when
  • the interface language and appearance (skin) at that moment
  • the fact and outcome of admin login attempts (with the pseudonym, for security)

2.3. Technical data

The server processes connection data (IP address, browser data, timestamp, requested page) in its standard web server log for as long as needed for operation and security.

2.4. Settings stored in your browser

Only your own settings remain in the browser's local storage, on your device: the chosen language, the appearance (dark/light) and the source filter. They never leave your device and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.

3. Purposes and legal bases

3.1. Statistics and improvement

Purpose: to understand which stories, sources and languages readers care about, so we can shape the Website accordingly.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). The data is used pseudonymously and is not combined with data from other sources.

3.2. Operation and security

Purpose: keeping the server running and detecting abuse (e.g. attempts to break into the admin area).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).

3.3. Contact

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide to answer your enquiry — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f).

4. The role of artificial intelligence

4.1. AI writes the stories — not your data

The summaries, timelines and translations on the Website are produced by a locally running language model from publicly available news sources, and an automated review step checks them against the source. This processing concerns the news, not the visitors: the view data collected about visitors is never processed by any AI and never used to train a model.

4.2. No external AI provider

Processing happens on our own machine. No data — neither the news nor visitor data — is sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic or any other external AI provider.

4.3. Nature of the content

The summaries are automatically generated, informational texts and may be inaccurate. Details are in the Terms of Use.

5. Retention and deletion

5.1. View events: 12 months

Pseudonymous view events are kept for at most 12 months and then deleted automatically and permanently. Aggregated numbers (how many views on a day) may remain after the events are deleted, but they can no longer be linked to a visitor.

5.2. Operational logs

Web server logs are kept as long as necessary, typically no longer than 12 months.

5.3. Contact

Enquiries received by email or phone are kept until the matter is settled, and until any legal claims become time-barred.

6. Processors and transfers

6.1. Who has access

Only the Controller has access to the data. We use the operator of the server hosting the Website (Rackhost Zrt., Szeged, Hungary) as a processor.

6.2. Third countries

Data is processed within the European Union and no personal data is transferred to third countries.

6.3. Official requests

Where required by law (court or authority request), we may hand over the relevant data to the entitled body.

7. Your rights

7.1. What you are entitled to

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.

7.2. The limit of identification

An honest limitation: since there is no registration and the pseudonym changes daily, we cannot tell from the statistics who you are — under GDPR Art. 11 we cannot link a request about such data to a specific person. Rights concerning the data you provide when contacting us can be exercised in full.

7.3. Exercising your rights

Send your request to isgpt4skynet@protonmail.com. We respond within 1 month; in complex cases this may be extended by 2 months, of which we will inform you.

7.4. Complaints

Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH)
Falk Miksa utca 9-11, 1055 Budapest, Hungary
Phone: +36 1 391-1400
Email: ugyfelszolgalat@naih.hu
Web: naih.hu

You may also bring the matter before a court.

8. Data security

  • All transfers use an encrypted channel (HTTPS/TLS).
  • The IP address appears in the statistics only as a salted, daily-rotating, irreversible pseudonym.
  • The admin area is password-protected, attempts are rate-limited and logins are logged.
  • Retention periods are enforced by automatic clean-up.

In the event of a data breach we notify the NAIH within 72 hours where the law requires it, and inform the affected persons in high-risk cases.
