Humanoid Robot Dances at Gábor Dénes University During Researchers' Night
On September 25, Gábor Dénes University (GDE) introduced its first-year humanoid robot, which will be one of the event's stars. The robot will dance, and visitors can learn about the fundamentals of artificial intelligence through interactive stations.
From 17:00 to 22:00, GDE welcomes visitors during Researchers' Night. One highlight of the event is a humanoid robot that began its first academic year this year and also took the oath at the opening ceremony.
In addition to the robot, drones, industrial robots, Lego robots, 3D printing, and light painting will be showcased. Participants can collect stamps at interactive stations, and hourly raffles are held with GDE gift packages.
The core of the presentations focuses on artificial intelligence, prompting, and ethical AI use. Visitors can test whether they can distinguish real content from AI-generated material, and they can also learn about cybersecurity and teleportation topics.
According to Kozma‑Bognár Veronika, the deputy scientific rector at GDE, the evening aims for the general public to become familiar with the tools used daily by researchers, teachers, and students, and to prepare them for the future.
