Meta Unveils the Muse Charm: AI-Powered Neckband Device
On Wednesday, Meta introduced its new smart glasses and an accompanying AI key called Muse Charm. The small, fingerprint‑activated gadget is designed to connect directly to the AI agent without requiring a smartphone. The device will hit the market around December, but details remain unclear.

The Muse Charm is a tiny AI‑powered gadget that can be worn with a neckband. It can be activated by a fingerprint sensor located in the upper right corner, allowing instant conversation with the AI agent. The device also contains a camera and multiple microphones.
According to Zuckerberg, using the gadget does not require a smartphone or an app, but it is still unknown how it connects to Meta’s servers. The material used for the casing and its exact appearance remain a mystery; however, Zuckerberg promised that they will use a case that provides insight into the device’s internal components.
The Muse Charm will appear on store shelves around December, but details have not yet been finalized. Meta has previously experimented with similar AI devices, such as Humane startup’s AI Pin, which was subsequently purchased by HP after production halted.
